I’m Brooks

After graduating high school, I was a little unsure which career path I wanted to follow. I talked to my guidance counseler about trying nursing, because that's what my mom does, but they steered me away from that leaving me a little lost.

I was generally interested in computers through playing video games and building my own gaming computer. I didn't exactly understand what Computer Science was, but I ended up signing up for that as my major. Shortly after starting, a family friend that worked for the university was looking for a student worker to help maintain the university's website. I started learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, working on the website, and the rest is history.
